The attack on Pearl
Harbour was devastating, incredibly devastating. Thousands
of lives lost, millions in military equipment destroyed and
a very pretty James King needlessly losing her life…
But what if, just what if, the attack was not on Pearl Harbour,
but right here on our beloved tanahair - Malaysia?
Victorian Theatre Company
proudly brings to you their highly debatable rendition of
the Pearl Harbour incident, Malaysian style. The play is a
parody of both the Pearl Harbour tragedy and the Hollywood
account of the incident; only this time, Singapore is the
perpetrator and Malaysia the victim. The play features a myriad
of characters inspired by local and foreign figures, as well
as new themes drawn from recent local and international occurrences.
Bursting with raw inspiration
and impeccable comical timing, "Port Klang Harbour"
promises to bring a new lease of life and a fresher, more
youthful look to the Malaysian comedy scene.
